Since launching "Belonging Bridge" in March 2024, we’ve spent nearly a year since making a powerful impact in our community! This initiative brings together all the care and support we’ve provided over the past three years into one dynamic program, designed to help individuals overcome challenges and move toward stability.

Here’s how we’re making a difference in going into 2025:

* Fresh Threads ER Support: Providing dignity and comfort with fresh clothing for individuals in crisis while they await care in the ER. No one should face life’s toughest moments in paper scrubs—we’re here to offer care and compassion when it’s needed most.

* Free Mobile Thrift & Community Fridge: Delivering essentials directly to the community! Our mobile thrift provides free clothing, food, hygiene products, and non-perishables through pop-up events and contacting us, ensuring everyone has access to what they need.

* On-the-Go Housing Enhancement Program: This year, we are excited to expand our support even further! Starting in April 2025, we’ll launch "Pathways Packs: Empowering Transitions," distributing transitional bags filled with essentials for individuals navigating life transitions. These packs will include hygiene essentials, a quilt, a cozy fluffy blanket, financial assistance for personalized hygiene items, and snacks to offer additional care and warmth. Each pack will feature an inspirational-themed t-shirt, a sweatshirt, two pairs of sweatpants, and Bombas socks (generously provided by the Community Counseling Solutions Peer Center until our distribution of underwear, t-shirts, and socks begins in 2027). Personalized resources tailored to each recipient’s needs will also be included, ensuring holistic support for those transitioning from houselessness, incarceration, or treatment.

Whether someone is living in an RV, a car, or other mobile housing and transitioning from the unique housing, treatment, and/or incarceration, we’re here to offer a Pathways Pack for those who need it and want to accept it. These packs are here to help bridge the gap, providing the essentials and encouragement needed as they work toward building their own stable and self-sufficient future.

Belonging Bridge, impact is anything but small. We will provide mobile peer support that addresses critical gaps in care, offering transportation when called upon by other agencies and community members to take a peer to appointments that are across state lines, night and weekend availability, and immediate help for those in crisis—needs that larger systems often can’t meet in time. Our team steps in with housing support & resources, harm reduction tools, and in-between services to ensure no one is left waiting or unsupported. In a community where most agencies work 9-to-5, we make sure supportive needs are answered when it matters most. Our presence is felt far and wide because we are committed to being there for the individuals who need us most—anytime, anywhere. We are trying and feel that after three years we are getting there with focusing on small yet large forgotten needs of others.
